Al-Freed Saboonchi

Al-Freed Saboonchi is from a Middle Eastern and Indian heritage. He has lived and worked out of UK, GDR and UAE before moving to NZ in 1998. He is the managing director of ACP and provides counselling and consultancy to individuals, groups and organisations. He also provides some supervision and mentoring to professional working with specific client groups.

Auckland Counselling & Psychotherapy: ACP is a small, private, counselling & psychotherapy practice, we specialise in helping men and women deal with internally and externally generated conflicts and relational difficulties.

"I have been working with Individuals and Couples experiencing a wide range of difficulties in their lives. My intention is to assist you in a creative understanding and resolution to your issues. I use Transactional Analysis and Psychosynthesis Counselling Modalities in my practice. I also facilitate group counselling for personal development and communication training."

I am a certified PCM Trainer running individual and group courses.

Al-Freed is currently completing his last assignments for a Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from Auckland. He is also attending his final year of Psychotherapy training as a Certified Transactional Analyst in Wellington. He has been working and training in this field since 2002. Al-Freed has a passion for working with men and women so that they reach a creative and deeper shift from unwanted patterns of problematic behaviors.

Professional Affiliations: Provisional Member NZAC (New Zealand Association of Counsellors), Vice President NZTAA (New Zealand Transactional Analysis Association), Member ITAA (International Transactional Analysis Association) & IARPP (International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy).
